Capability

Systems integration services for UAE organisations

When systems cannot share data, staff fill the gap: copying figures between screens, exporting and re-importing files, reconciling totals at month end. Next Orbit connects business, industrial and third-party systems so that each record is entered once and reaches every place it is needed.

  • Architecture-led
  • R&D-backed
  • QC before every release
  • UAE, GCC & global
  • ERP, SCADA, payment, courier and identity systems
  • APIs, queues, file exchange and industrial protocols
  • Retries, error handling and reconciliation built in

Quick answer

What is systems integration and who is it for?

Systems integration links separate software and hardware so they exchange data automatically and dependably. Next Orbit integrates ERP and accounting platforms, SCADA and IoT equipment, payment gateways, courier services, identity providers and older databases. We work for organisations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, the entire UAE, the GCC and globally where staff re-key data between systems or where every report needs manual consolidation.

Every engagement is architecture-led, delivered by an innovative, R&D-backed team of security-first engineers and quality-controlled before each release, for clients across Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the entire UAE, the GCC and globally.

Click a system on the map to see how we connect it: the protocol, which way data flows and what a record looks like on the wire. Legacy systems get an adapter, not a rewrite.

  • APIContracts first. Each integration has a documented schema, error handling and retry rules.
  • ⇄Monitored feeds. We know when a connection goes quiet or a volume looks wrong before you do.
  • ⌁Industrial protocols. OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT and LoRaWAN alongside the usual REST and webhooks.

What you get

Systems integration: what we deliver

ERP, SCADA, payment, courier, identity and legacy systems connected so data is entered once and reused.

Deliverable 01 · Systems integration

API integration

REST and SOAP APIs and webhooks connect modern platforms in real time, with authentication, rate limits and version changes handled properly.

What is systems integration, and when is it needed?

  1. Systems integration is the engineering of dependable connections between systems that were never designed to work together.

    Read moreShow less

It is needed when the same data is typed into more than one place, when one report requires exports from several systems, when the website and the warehouse give a customer different answers, or when a new platform must run alongside an old one.

  2. Moving data is only part of the job.

    Read moreShow less

The harder decision is which system is the master for each kind of record, such as customers, products, prices and stock, and making every other system follow it. We settle that during solution architecture, before a single connector is written. It is the same discipline behind e-tijariX, the commerce and ERP platform we implement, where online orders, offline sales, warehouses and the general ledger share one product master.

  • E-commerce, marketplace and POS integration
  • SCADA, PLC and IoT gateway integration
  • Payment gateway and bank integration
  • Courier, SMS, WhatsApp and email services
  • Identity providers and single sign-on

How do you connect ERP, SCADA and third-party systems?

  1. Each system gets the method that suits it.

    Read moreShow less

Modern platforms connect through their APIs. High-volume or time-sensitive flows go through a message queue, so a short outage in one system does not lose data in another. Plant equipment is reached over industrial protocols such as MQTT, Modbus and OPC UA, normally through a secured gateway. Older systems may use scheduled file exchange or controlled database access.

  2. Every interface is specified in writing: fields and formats, trigger, direction, expected volume and the behaviour on failure.

    Read moreShow less

The specification is agreed with the owner of the other system, often a third party, before development starts. MeezanX, the EPC platform we implement, integrates with Power BI and SharePoint this way, and the same method applies to client projects.

What makes an integration dependable?

  1. Integrations break in ordinary ways: a network drops, a remote system goes into maintenance, a record arrives with an unexpected value.

    Read moreShow less

A dependable integration assumes this will happen. Messages are retried, duplicates are detected, failures are logged with enough detail to act on, and a named person is alerted.

  2. We add reconciliation as well, a scheduled comparison of record counts and totals on both sides, so quiet drift is caught early.

    Read moreShow less

Credentials are stored securely, data in transit is encrypted and each interface has only the access it needs.

  • Retries, queues and idempotent processing
  • Logging and alerts on every interface
  • Scheduled reconciliation reports
  • Encrypted transport and least-privilege credentials

How we work

How we deliver systems integration

5 stages, each with a deliverable you can review and sign off before the next begins.

Revision A · stage 1 of 5

Map

Systems, data owners, master records and today’s manual hand-offs are documented.

Revision B · stage 2 of 5

Specify

Each interface is defined field by field and agreed with the owner of every system involved.

Revision C · stage 3 of 5

Build

Connectors or middleware are developed against test environments of each system.

Revision D · stage 4 of 5

Prove

End-to-end scenarios, failure cases and volume tests are run and reconciled.

Revision E · stage 5 of 5

Watch

Interfaces go live with dashboards, alerts and a written support procedure.

Questions, answered

Systems integration in the UAE: frequently asked questions

01 Can you integrate with the ERP we already run?

In most cases. We use whatever interface the ERP offers, such as an API, database access or file import and export, and confirm the approach during discovery.

02 What if the other system has no API?

We consider database-level integration, scheduled file exchange or a small adapter service. If none of these is safe, we say so and propose an alternative.

03 Can plant equipment be connected to business software?

Yes. We connect sensors, gateways and SCADA systems to cloud dashboards and enterprise applications, keeping operational and business networks properly separated. See our IoT development work.

04 Do you integrate UAE payment gateways and couriers?

Yes. We integrate the payment providers and carriers you have contracted, using their published APIs, and test in their sandbox environments before going live.

05 Who looks after the integrations once they are live?

They can be covered by a support and maintenance agreement that includes monitoring, updates when a third-party API changes, and incident response.

06 How is integration work priced?

It is scope-based: the number of interfaces, their complexity and the quality of each system’s documentation drive the effort. A tailored proposal follows the mapping exercise.
